Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 August 2026
These terms cover your use of this website, run by Nottingham Building Services ("NBS", "we"). By using the site you accept them. They are about the website only; any building work we do for you is covered by the written quote and contract for that job.
What the content is (and is not)
Pages on this site describe how garage and loft conversions typically work, including typical timescales, permitted development rules and building regulations requirements. They are general guidance, offered in good faith and kept up to date, but they are not advice about your property. Every house is different, which is exactly why we survey before we quote. Do not make decisions about your own project on the strength of a web page alone, ours or anyone's.
Quotes and surveys
Free surveys and feasibility checks carry no obligation on either side. A price becomes binding only when we issue a written quote and you accept it; anything said before that is an estimate.
Using the site
- The content, drawings and branding on this site belong to NBS or our licensors. You may not reuse them commercially without permission.
- You agree not to misuse the site: no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no submitting malicious content through the forms, and no scraping the contact endpoints.
- Links to other websites (including our sister company) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and we cannot promise it will be error-free or always online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site's general content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
